Chris Somerville is an experienced professional in community agriculture and international development, currently serving as the Community Farm Manager at The Happy Pear since October 2021. Prior to this role, Chris held various positions including Development Specialist (Deputy Director) at the Department of Foreign Affairs, Ireland from September 2017 to October 2021, and International Urban Agriculture Consultant at FAO from January 2012 to August 2017. Early career experience includes a role as a Researcher at Plan International Ireland from September 2009 to July 2010. Chris holds an M.Sc in Agroecology/Organic Agriculture from Wageningen University & Research, an M.Phil in International Development from Dublin City University, and a B.Sc in Natural Sciences (Geography) from Trinity College Dublin.

We work with a range of medical professionals including a cardiologist, gastroenterologists, dietician,s and other expert practitioners. With these expert partners, we have developed our suite of online courses that have helped over 60,000 people worldwide improve their health. Steve and Dave have a wealth of experience in providing health & wellness talks and cooking demonstrations across Ireland, the UK, Europe, and USA and have been key speakers in BBC Good Food, Jamie Oliver and Wellfest to name just a few.
