Amanda Willis, LCSW-S, has a diverse range of experience in the field of social work. Amanda started their career in 2003 as an In-Home Protective Caseworker at Logan County Children's Services. Amanda then went on to work as a Foster Care Facilitator, Adoption Facilitator, and later as a Site Coordinator at Logan County Family & Children First Council. In 2010, Amanda became a Maternity/Adoption Social Worker at Presbyterian Children's Homes & Services. From 2011 to 2013, they worked as a Clinical Supervisor at Westbury Community Hospital. Amanda then joined Memorial Hermann Health System, where they served as a Master Social Worker II, providing comprehensive counseling and support services to patients and families. In 2014, they took on the role of Staff Services Administrator at The Harris Center for Mental Health and IDD, and later became a Clinical Team Lead in 2016. Additionally, Amanda worked as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Houston - Downtown Employment Services and Operations starting in 2015. With their extensive experience and various roles, Amanda has developed a strong foundation in social work and its different aspects.

Amanda Willis, LCSW-S, received their Master of Social Work (MSW) degree in Clinical/Medical Social Work from The Ohio State University in 2007. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Social Work from Bluffton University in 2003. Amanda has additional certifications as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker & Supervisor, obtained from the Texas State Board of Social Worker Examiners in August 2010, and as a Licensed Independent Social Worker, obtained from the Ohio Counselor, Social Worker, Marriage & Family Therapist Board in June 2003.
