Sara Batterton Hagyari

Clinical Team Lead at The Harris Center for Mental Health and IDD

Sara Batterton Hagyari has worked in several positions throughout their career. In 2008, they became the owner of Sara Batterton, LPC, PA, where they worked until 2013. During this time, they also served as an LPC Provider for Texas Medicaid & Healthcare Partnership/HHSC. From 2011 to 2013, they worked as a Substance Abuse Counselor at GeoCare. In 2013, they began working at St. Joseph's Hospital as a Lead Program Therapist. Since 2014, they have been employed at MHMRA of Harris County, initially as an MCOT LPHA, and currently as a Clinical Team Lead.

Sara Batterton Hagyari completed their education with a Master of Science (MS) degree in Community Psychology from Henderson State University from 1998 to 2000. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences/Liberal Studies from Arkansas State University from 1995 to 1998.
