Bethany Flaherty

Bethany Flaherty is an experienced legal professional with a strong background in corporate litigation and group benefits litigation. Currently serving as Assistant General Counsel at The Hartford, Bethany has held various roles in the organization, including Associate Counsel and Senior Counsel. Prior experience includes working as an Associate at Bingham McCutchen and as a Judicial Intern for Hon. Debra Freeman at the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York. Additional experience includes an internship as an Investigator with the New York State Division of Human Rights and a position as a Legal Assistant at Cesari and McKenna, LLP. Bethany Flaherty holds a Doctor of Law (JD), summa cum laude, from Brooklyn Law School and a Bachelor of Arts (BA), magna cum laude, from Wheaton College Massachusetts.
