John Drakos

John Drakos is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the insurance industry, currently serving as Managing Director at The Hartford since June 2008. In this role, John manages the Northeast Construction group and has established a new base of operations in Boston, MA. John's previous positions at The Hartford include Executive Team Lead, Executive Underwriter/Northeast Loss Sensitive Lead, and Senior Construction Underwriter, where responsibilities ranged from overseeing large deductible business to building and maintaining agent partnerships. John started a career at Northwestern Mutual as a College Representative before earning an MBA from the University of Hartford and a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Political Science from Trinity College-Hartford.
