Lanny Rubin

Lanny Rubin currently serves as the Vice President of Strategy and Innovation for AI, Data, Analytics, and Operations at The Hartford, starting in September 2025. Prior to this role, Lanny held various leadership positions at Nationwide from August 2015 to September 2025, including Assistant Vice President of Technology Capabilities and Operations, where responsibilities included overseeing technology strategy execution and governance of the Technology Portfolio. Lanny also served as Assistant Vice President and Chief of Staff to the Chief Technology Officer, leading operational excellence initiatives across the enterprise. Earlier experience includes roles as Director of Enterprise Lean at Nationwide and Senior Project Manager at USC Consulting Group, focusing on operational excellence and process improvement across multiple industries. Lanny began a career in finance and market analysis, holding a degree from the London School of Economics and a BA from Walsh University.
