Sugato Sarkar, MBA, is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in technology strategy and operations. Currently serving as the Director of Technology Strategy and Operations at The Hartford since May 2018, Sugato focuses on annual investment planning, aligning technology execution with business priorities, and leading Agile adoption to enhance efficiency and drive value. Prior roles include Director of Application Development at The Hartford, Director of Client Services at Virtusa, and various positions at Capgemini, where Sugato managed multimillion-dollar projects, oversaw application development, and engaged with C-Level clients. Sugato holds an MBA from the Jack Welch Management Institute and a BE in Electrical Engineering from Jadavpur University.
