Michael Babbitt

With 14 years of experience in the legal profession, starting as a paralegal and eventually managing the law firm, there is hardly a legal issue that can arise during the buying or selling of a property that he have not encountered. After leaving the law firm, he added entrepreneurism and digital acumen to the skill set, acting as president and CEO of a computer consulting startup. It was there that he saw the calling in real estate, and have been working in real estate ever since.

Entering real estate at the height of the foreclosure market, he quickly got the designation as a Certified REO Property Specialist and Certified Short Sale Specialist. Both areas in which he have extensive experience, not only by helping the own clients but by becoming a mentor and negotiator to many agents in the industry. Which lead him to get the designation as a Master Certified Negotiation Expert. Throughout the years of working with some of the top agents and teams in the industry combined with the insatiable appetite for knowledge, he have learned from the best.This combined with the wide-ranging and comprehensive earlier skills and experience has allowed him to succeed and excel in any market becoming one of the area’s best agents, managing 9 offices across Oregon and SW Washington.

In addition to those professional accomplishments, he have been very involved in giving back and helping to improve the community through a variety of volunteer opportunities. He served 12 years on the City of West Linn Planning Commission, acting as chair for many of those years. Including acting as an advisor to the City’s Sustainability Commission, a member of the Infill and Planned Unit Development Task Force, and serving on the Board of Directors for the non-profit company Youth Building Green and Vice-Chair of the Oregon Young Professionals Network.
