Ryan Sauder has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Ryan is currently serving as the Chief Advancement Officer at The Hastings Center since February 2020. Prior to this, Ryan worked as a Consultant, specializing in Higher Education Grants and Strategic Initiatives, since January 2016.

Ryan also has experience as the Co-Founder of The Case for Beer, LLC, a company that offers unique beer-drinking experiences through innovative packaging and an interactive web platform. Ryan'stenure with the company lasted from April 2014 to March 2020.

In terms of education institutions, Ryan held various roles at Franklin & Marshall College, including Assistant Dean for Academic Advancement, Senior Director of College Grants and Foundation & Corporate Relations, and Director of Corporate & Foundation Relations. Ryan worked at the college from October 2007 to February 2020.

Following their undergraduate studies, they pursued a Master of Arts degree in History & Philosophy of Science with an Emphasis in Bioethics from the University of Pittsburgh. This program lasted from 1997 to 2000.

In addition to their formal education, Ryan has also obtained several certifications. In 2004, they received a Writer/Editor Certification from the American Medical Writers Association (AMWA). The following year, in 2005, they achieved Certification as Editor in the Life Sciences from the Board of Editors in the Life Sciences (BELS). Ryan'sdesire to continuously expand their skill set is evident in their later certifications. In 2016, Ryan obtained The Discipline of Frontline Fundraising certification from Plus Delta Partners. In 2017, they became a Certified Beer Server (CBS) through the Cicerone® Certification Program. Most recently, in 2019, they obtained Wilderness First Aid certification from the SOLO Wilderness Medical School.
