Kayleigh Chamberlain

Head Of Chemistry at THE HAZELEY ACADEMY

Kayleigh Chamberlain has a diverse range of work experience. Kayleigh currently works as the Head of Chemistry at The Hazeley Academy, a position they have held since February 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Science Teacher at the same school since August 2019. Before entering the education field, Kayleigh was a Trainee Science Teacher at Tommy Flowers SCITT from September 2018 to July 2019.

From July 2015 to August 2018, Kayleigh worked as a Team Leader at the NCS - National Citizen Service Trust. In addition to their teaching roles, they gained experience as a Personal Tutor at Chemistry from January 2018 to July 2018. Kayleigh also held positions within the UEA Student Union, serving as a PAL Officer from September 2017 to June 2018 and as a PAL Mentor from September 2015 to July 2017.

Furthermore, they worked as an Afterschool Club Assistant at KindaHappy Kids from October 2016 to March 2017. Prior to that, they worked as Bar Staff at UEA Student Union from June 2015 to September 2016. Kayleigh's earliest work experience includes roles as a Kitchen Assistant at the Wheatsheaf from May 2012 to September 2014 and as a Playscheme Assistant at Wavendon Gate School from May 2012 to February 2014.

Kayleigh Chamberlain completed their education with a PGCE in Secondary Science with QTS from Northumbria University in the year 2019. Prior to that, they pursued an undergraduate degree in Chemistry from the University of East Anglia, obtaining an MChem degree in 2018. During their time at the University of East Anglia, they also earned the UEA Award Bronze Level certification in April 2018.
