Alyssa Ordu's diverse work experience spans multiple industries and roles. Alyssa is currently working as the Equity, Diversity & Inclusion Lead at The Health Foundation since May 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Hustle Crew as the Head of Consulting from January 2022 to May 2023 and as a Senior Diversity & Inclusion Consultant from June 2020 to February 2022. Alyssa also served as the Consulting Chief Marketing Officer at Kugali Media, the largest pan African comic book publisher, from January 2020 to June 2022. Alyssa worked as a Communications Consultant at WorkWild, a social enterprise, from November 2019 to April 2022. Before that, Alyssa worked as a Marketing Consultant for various companies from May 2018 to November 2019. Alyssa also served as the Corporate Programmes Manager at Fearless Futures, an education startup, from January 2019 to September 2019. Alyssa's earlier experience includes roles such as Communications Manager and Account Manager at DeepCrawl from February 2016 to July 2018, and HR & Finance Manager at Survey Sampling International from August 2014 to May 2016. Alyssa began their career as a Health Champion at Community Service Volunteers, where they worked on various health campaigns and trained with organizations like Time to Change and Mind, from 2011 to 2013.

Alyssa Ordu's education history begins with their high school education at Walt Whitman High School from 2005 to 2007. Alyssa then went on to study at the United World College of the Atlantic, where they obtained an International Baccalaureate Diploma in a variety of subjects including Peace and Conflict Studies, Spanish, English, Art, Maths, Environmental Science, and Theory of Knowledge from 2007 to 2009.

Following their time at the United World College of the Atlantic, Alyssa attended Manchester School of Art in 2009 to 2010, where they earned a degree in Art & Design (Foundation). Afterward, they pursued their Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Psychology from The Manchester Metropolitan University from 2010 to 2013.

Alyssa's education journey continued with a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Gender, Development & Globalisation Graduate from The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) from 2013 to 2014.

In addition to their formal education, Alyssa has obtained certifications in "Fostering Inclusion" and "Understanding Bias" from Hustle Crew in July 2018 and May 2018, respectively.
