Charles Tallack

Charles Tallack has a diverse work experience spanning multiple sectors and roles. Charles is currently serving as the Director of Data Analytics at The Health Foundation since March 2022. Prior to that, they worked as an Assistant Director at The Health Foundation from February 2019 to October 2022.

Before joining The Health Foundation, Tallack had extensive experience in the healthcare sector. Charles was the Head of NHS Operational Research and Evaluation at NHS England from March 2015 to February 2019, where they played a crucial role in shaping national transformation programs and service innovations. Charles also served as the Head of Analytical Services, South Region at NHS England from July 2013 to March 2015.

Tallack's work in the healthcare sector extends to their time at the Department of Health, where they held the role of Head of Social Care Analysis from September 2012 to July 2013. Prior to that, they worked as the Head of Social Care Funding Reform at the Department of Health, England from August 2011 to August 2012.

Tallack's expertise in policy and analysis is evident from their roles in the UK Government. Charles served as the Chief Analyst, Commission on Funding of Care and Support (Dilnot Commission) from July 2010 to July 2011. Charles Tallack attended Durham University from 1981 to 1984, where they pursued a degree in Mathematics. After a gap of three years, they enrolled at the University of Warwick in 1987 and completed an MSc degree in Operational Research and Management Science in 1988.
