Chloe Sheppard has a diverse work experience spanning various organizations and roles. Chloe has recently worked as the Head of Strategy at The Health Foundation, where they played a crucial role in developing and maintaining effective working relationships with internal stakeholders and contributing to the development of the organization's corporate strategy function. Prior to that, Chloe worked at Wellcome Trust, where they held positions such as Research and Engagement Relationships Manager, Researchers' Engagement Manager, and Researchers' Engagement Project Manager. During their time at Wellcome Trust, Chloe led strategic relationships with global research partners and successfully implemented various research and engagement programs, including designing new funding models and managing pilot devolved funding schemes. Before Wellcome Trust, Chloe worked at RCUK Strategy Unit as a Senior Policy Manager, focusing on public engagement with research. Chloe spearheaded the development and delivery of cross Research Council policies and funding mechanisms to involve and engage people with research. Additionally, Chloe has prior experience at The Royal Society and Planet Science/Science Year, where they held managerial roles and was responsible for organizing public events, research awards, and engaging with various stakeholders. Chloe's early career also includes a position as an Explainer at the Science Museum. Overall, Chloe Sheppard's expertise lies in strategy development, stakeholder management, public engagement, and research program management.
Chloe Sheppard obtained their MSc degree in Science Communication from Imperial College London from 2005 to 2007.
