Mark Flack

Head of IT and Facilities at The Health Foundation

Mark Flack has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Mark began their career at Cambridge Assessment, where they worked as a Writing Administrator and later as a Copyright Administrator. In 2008, they joined Mediaforce as an IT Support Administrator, responsible for handling various IT services and resolving issues promptly.

Mark then worked at Bidwells as a Service Desk Analyst, providing support for IT systems within the company. Mark joined The Health Foundation in 2012 as an IT Support Analyst and gradually progressed to Interim IT Manager, where they led the IT team and successfully delivered an office move project. Mark later became the IT Systems Manager, overseeing all IT systems, staff, and processes, and ensuring the continuity of critical services.

Currently, Mark holds the position of Head of IT and Facilities at The Health Foundation. In this role, they focus on meeting the organization's technical and physical infrastructure requirements, developing strategies for IT and Facilities, and driving appropriate change.

Mark Flack attended Long Road Sixth Form College from 1997 to 1999, where they studied business, computing, and mathematics. Mark then attended The University of Abertay, Dundee from 2000 to 2003, earning a BSc in Business Computing with a focus on business, computing, and IT. Mark Flack has additional certifications including CompTIA A+ Certified Technician from Comp Tia, ITIL v3 Foundation from ITIL Certified, Microsoft Certified Professional from Microsoft Certifications, and PRINCE2® Foundation Certification Training from PRINCE2.com.
