Tanya Royer

Tanya Royer has a diverse range of work experience spanning various sectors. Tanya started their career at NHS Islington Clinical Commissioning Group as the Head of Communications. In this role, they designed leadership and coaching sessions for GPs, organized conferences and fairs, and conducted community listening events.

Tanya then moved on to work at Medway NHS Foundation Trust as a Digital Content Editor, where they developed a digital strategy, created website content, and implemented branding and accessibility guidelines.

Tanya also took a break for maternity leave from October 2016 to August 2019.

After their maternity leave, they became a Graduate Student in Creative Writing & Education at Goldsmiths, University of London. Tanya'screative workshop was recognized by the university and published in a creative writing guide.

Tanya then joined Architects Benevolent Society as a Strategic Communications Advisor, providing advice and executive coaching to the communications manager. Tanya developed campaigns to enhance understanding of the charity among members and partners.

Most recently, Tanya has been working as a Communications Consultant at The Health Foundation. Tanya'srole involves interviewing senior clinicians and system change leaders, translating complex data into blogs for the Q Community website.

Tanya Royer's education history includes a Master of Arts degree in Creative Writing from Goldsmiths, University of London, which they obtained from 2019 to 2021. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and History at the University of Victoria from 1988 to 1992. Before their university studies, Tanya obtained a Diploma Hons in English, History, and Maths from South Peace Senior Secondary School from 1985 to 1988. In addition to their formal education, Tanya also obtained the certification of Associated Professional Member (APM) from the Chartered Institute of Editing and Proofreading (CIEP) in July 2020.
