Jim Alderman

President and CEO, Emeritus at Heart Center of MetroWest

Jim Alderman has extensive work experience in the field of cardiology. Jim has held various positions throughout their career, including President and CEO at Heart Center of MetroWest and Director of Interventional Cardiology at MetroWest Medical Center. Jim also worked as an Interventional Cardiologist at Tufts Medical Center, Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, and Brigham and Women's Hospital. In addition, they served as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at Tufts University Medical School and Harvard Medical School. Jim Alderman was also involved in the Framingham Heart Study as the Vice Chairman of the Ethics Advisory Board.

Jim Alderman has an extensive education history. Jim completed their high school education at Kingswood-Oxford School from 1966 to 1972, earning their HS degree. After that, they attended Yale University from 1972 to 1975 and obtained their BA degree. Jim then pursued their medical education at The University of Connecticut School of Medicine from 1976 to 1980, earning their MD degree. Following this, they completed an Internal Medicine Residency at New York Medicine Jobs from 1980 to 1983. Finally, from 1983 to 1986, Jim attended Harvard Medical School and completed a Cardiology Fellowship.
