Andrew Friedell

Chief Operating Officer at The Helper Bees

Andrew Friedell has worked in the healthcare industry since 1996. Andrew began their career as an Aide to the Governor of New Jersey and then moved on to Merck as a Public Affairs Coordinator. In 2002, they joined Medco as a Manager of Public Policy Analysis and then was promoted to Senior Director of the Northeast Region. In 2012, they joined Maxim Healthcare Services as Vice President of Government Affairs and Product Development and was later promoted to Senior Vice President of Strategic Solutions and Public Affairs. In 2020, they founded and became the CEO of healthAlign, a healthcare technology company. In 2023, they took on the role of Chief Operating Officer at The Helper Bees.

Andrew Friedell earned a BS in Political Science from the University of Rhode Island in 1996. Andrew then went on to pursue an MS in Public Policy from Rutgers University, which they completed in 1998.
