Dan Sweigart

Dan Sweigart is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the field of research and development, currently holding the position of Hershey Fellow at The Hershey Company since September 2013. Responsibilities include leadership in high oleic peanut technology, global peanut sourcing, nut roast optimization, nut chemistry characterization, and managing aflatoxin risk assessment. Prior roles include Chemist at Warner-Lambert Company and Analytical Chemist at Lancaster Laboratories. Dan Sweigart holds a B.S. in Chemistry from Lebanon Valley College and has pursued graduate-level food science courses at Penn State University.
