Robert Lawton

Robert Lawton is an accomplished legal professional currently serving as Senior Director and Associate General Counsel at The Hershey Company, with a focus on salty snacks, privacy, security, and risk management since August 2019. Previously, Lawton held various legal positions at The Hershey Company, including Director and Assistant General Counsel for U.S. Commercial matters, as well as Senior Counsel for Contracts and Global Supply Chain. Prior to joining The Hershey Company, Lawton worked as an attorney at K&L Gates and held leadership roles at Tighe Retail Ltd and Danskin, where responsibilities included presidency and directorial oversight of retail operations. Lawton holds a Doctor of Law degree from Widener University Commonwealth Law School and a Master of Business Administration in Finance and Economics from Duquesne University, where an undergraduate degree in Accounting was also obtained.
