Sam Figueroa

Sam Figueroa has extensive experience in information systems and technical support, currently serving as a Specialist in Digital Systems at The Hershey Company since February 2011. In this role, Sam provides IS technical support at the local plant level and acts as a liaison between the plant and Corporate IS functions, tackling issues related to plant IS systems, networks, applications, client support, and disaster recovery. Prior to this, Sam worked as a Systems Administration Supervisor at Wal-Mart Distribution Center from February 2001 to February 2010, where responsibilities included overseeing asset integrity, reviewing capital budgets, processing high-volume store orders, and managing a team of eight associates while maintaining system uptime exceeding 99.7%. Sam holds a degree from Middle Tennessee State University, obtained between 1995 and 2001.
