Thomas Shinn boasts extensive experience in quality management within the food industry, currently serving as the Manager of Global Licensing Quality at The Hershey Company since June 1989. In this role, Thomas oversees Quality & Food Safety programs with global licensees and food service partners, involving product evaluations, contract management, quality systems assessments, troubleshooting, and the development of policies and procedures. Prior to this, Thomas held the position of Senior Staff Quality at The Hershey Company, managing quality and safety programs for notable partners such as General Mills and McDonald’s. Earlier professional experience includes serving as Quality Assurance Manager at D.F. Stauffer Biscuit Co., where Thomas managed safety and quality operations for a large manufacturing facility. Thomas holds a BS and MBA in Food Science from Penn State University, along with further education from Kansas State University, North Carolina State University, and Purdue University.
