Megan Holston-Alexander is the current Director at The Hidden Genius Project. Megan has a long and varied work history, starting with their position as an Investor at Unusual Ventures from April 2018 to December 2019. There, they took on a leadership role in creating and managing the Unusual Academy Program, as well as building and managing the Unusual Interns Program.
Prior to that, Megan worked as an MBA Investment Fellow at Foundation Capital from September 2017 to May 2018. During that time, they also worked as an MBA Associate at Lightspeed Venture Partners from September 2017 to January 2018. In between those two positions, they were a Summer Associate at Omidyar Network from June 2017 to August 2017.
Megan began their career at YouTube, where they interned from January 2017 to June 2017 as an MBA Intern for YouTube for Good. After their internship, they became the Chief Operations Officer at The Door from January 2016 to September 2017. From there, they became Program Director at Ronnie Lott's All Stars Helping Kids from June 2014 to September 2016.
Lastly, Megan has also worked as a Lecturer for Advanced Quantitative Research Methodology & Statistics at San Jose State University from December 2013 to September 2016.
Megan Holston-Alexander has a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Clark Atlanta University, a Master of Business Administration from Stanford University Graduate School of Business, and a Certificate in Public Management and Social Innovation from Stanford University Graduate School of Business. Megan also has a Master of Arts in Sociology from the University of Houston.
