Melia Swenson

Head Campus Captain at The Hidden Opponent

Melia Swenson has a diverse work experience starting in 2019. Melia began as a lifeguard at Yawgoo Valley Ski Area, where they eventually became the Head Lifeguard, managing a team of four employees. Melia also worked as a ski instructor, teaching individuals and groups the fundamentals of skiing. Melia also served as a camp counselor, supervising children and facilitating various activities. In 2021, Melia became the Head Campus Captain for The Hidden Opponent, a non-profit organization addressing mental health in student-athletes. Currently, they are a Social Media Intern for The Resilience Rally Foundation, creating weekly posts for their Instagram page. Additionally, Melia has held positions at Fairfield University, including Peer Notetaker and New Student Leader, and is currently a Program Coordinator for the Fairfield University Student Association. Melia's work experience showcases their skills in customer service, communication, leadership, and organizational abilities.

Melia Swenson attended La Salle Academy RI from 2018 to 2022 and obtained a High School Diploma. In 2022, they enrolled at Fairfield University. However, no other information regarding the degree or field of study is provided. Additionally, Melia Swenson obtained several certifications, including the American Red Cross Lifeguard Certificate, Basic Life Support (BLS), and CPR & AED in January 2023. In September 2019, they also obtained the Professional Ski Instructor of America certification from PSIA-AASI Eastern.
