James Marasco

James Marasco possesses extensive experience in law enforcement and security management, currently serving as Manager of Security and Transportation at The Highlands At Wyomissing since April 2019. Previously, Marasco held the position of Deputy Chief at Reading City Police Department, where responsibilities included overseeing administrative functions for a department of 168 sworn members and managing a $37 million budget. A long tenure with the Pennsylvania State Police from 1991 to 2016 included roles such as Patrol Unit Supervisor, Internal Affairs Investigator, Academy Instructor, Criminal Investigator, and Patrol Trooper, demonstrating a broad skill set in personnel management, criminal investigations, and law enforcement training. Marasco's educational background includes studies at Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania and Elizabethtown College.
