Akiko Surai

Akiko Surai is an experienced art professional currently serving as an Editor and Associate Curator at The Hill Street Country Club, where responsibilities include producing written content for various applications, drafting communications, providing art instruction, and collaborating on graphic design for events. Previously, Akiko worked as a Creative Consultant for The AjA Project, focusing on writing for newsletters and optimizing social media platforms, and served as a Gallery Intern at San Diego Mesa College, coordinating gallery shows and engaging with artists. Additional roles include Gallery Educator and Engagement Liaison at the Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego and contributing editor at Fabulously Feminist Magazine.
