Jennifer Hu has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Jennifer started their career in 2008 as an intern at Deutsche Bank's Private Banking Department. In 2009, they worked as a journalist intern at China Business News and interned at GE Energy's Finance Department. Jennifer then joined Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu as a Senior Consultant, where they conducted strategy consulting for Guilin Bank, performed pre-IPO due diligence for China Guangfa Bank, and conducted financial audits for B&Q. In 2013, they interned at Fosun Group's Japan Investment Department, where they wrote investment reports, conducted industry research, and supported the Managing Director in various tasks. In 2014, they worked as a part-time Associate at Roland Berger Strategy Consultants, conducting research and assisting in establishing a model for the midscale clothing industry's expansion strategy in China. In the same year, they became a Vice President at The Hina Group, a prominent cross border investment banking and private equity firm in China.

Jennifer Hu completed their Bachelor's degree in International Economics from Shanghai Jiao Tong University in 2009. In 2007, they participated in an exchange program at Nanyang Technological University in Singapore, focusing on Business and Economics. Later, from 2013 to 2015, Jennifer pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Finance at the Shanghai Advanced Institute of Finance, Shanghai Jiao Tong University. Additionally, they obtained the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Charterholder certification from the CFA Organization in August 2015.
