Jean George has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. They began their career as a Business Applications Consultant at Oracle in 2008 and later worked as a Community Manager at BBDO Canada. Jean then held positions as a Digital Strategist at TAXI and Cheil Canada. In 2012, they joined the University of Toronto School of Continuing Studies as a Social Media Strategy Instructor. Jean also worked as a Global Marketing Manager at the Creative Destruction Lab. In 2014, they became a Sr. Marketing & Brand Strategist at Bedrock Strategic, working as a freelance consultant until 2019. From 2018 to 2022, Jean held roles at VMLY&R, starting as a Sr. SUV Strategist and later becoming the Director of Strategy & Market Insights - Ford Motor Company of Canada. Currently, Jean is working as a Strategy Director at The Hive since 2022.
Jean George's education history includes a Global Executive MBA from the University of Toronto - Rotman School of Management, which they pursued from 2016 to 2018. Prior to that, they obtained a certification in Marketing Communications from the University of Toronto in 2010. Jean completed their undergraduate studies at the University of Guelph, where they earned a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Management Economics in Industry and Finance, graduating in 2006.
