Richard Rojas

Richard Rojas is an experienced health and education professional currently serving as a Veterinarian Research Assistant at Boston University since March 2025, following extensive training in biocontainment at various biosafety levels. In addition, Richard has been a Residential Counselor at The Home for Little Wanderers since June 2023, providing life skills counseling and program supervision for children, while previously holding roles such as Flex Sales Lead at Macy's and multiple positions at Starbucks, including Shift Supervisor. Richard has also contributed to community organizations, serving as a Board Member for Harlem Pride and as a Training Coordinator for Gay Men Of African Descent, Inc. Educationally, Richard is pursuing a Master of Public Health at CUNY Graduate School of Public Health, building on a Bachelor’s degree in Health Science and Nutrition from Brooklyn College and an Associate’s degree from Borough of Manhattan Community College.
