Sara Farahmand

Sara Farahmand currently serves as Director of Toxicology, Product Safety and Regulatory at The Honest Company, a position held since July 2023. Prior to this role, Sara was a Senior Principal Toxicologist at Edgewell Personal Care from November 2020 to July 2023, and previously held various toxicologist roles at The Clorox Company, Avon, Living Proof, Georgia-Pacific LLC, and Procter & Gamble. Academic qualifications include studies at Harvard Extension School and both the University of California, San Francisco, and the University of Cincinnati, culminating in extensive expertise in toxicology, regulatory compliance, and safety evaluations across the personal care and cosmetic industries. Notable achievements include leading risk assessments, managing clinical safety teams, and developing innovative methods for safety evaluation and regulatory submissions on a global scale.
