Danae Smith

Danae Smith has a strong background in order management and supply chain operations. Danae began their career in 2011 as a Store Manager at Starbucks, where they oversaw a team of 22 individuals and implemented a new company playbook to maximize efficiency and lower labor costs. In 2017, they joined Drybar as an Associate Supply Chain Analyst, where they created and managed inventory processes and reporting for the accounting and operating teams. Danae was then promoted to Senior Operations Analyst, where they managed end to end B2C and B2B order fulfillment and processes for retail stores at multiple 3PL warehouses, as well as implemented a Reverse Logistics program. In 2021, Danae joined Helen of Troy as a Senior Supply Chain Operations Analyst - Drybar, where they worked with Operations and Product Development on component procurement, distribution, and planning of CPG production. Danae also managed Suppliers and Contract Manufacturing facilities on timelines and deliverables. Additionally, they joined The Honey Pot Company in 2021, where they have held the roles of Senior Order Management Manager, Order Management Manager, and Distribution Planner.

Danae Smith attended Long Beach City College from 2013-2014, earning a Licentiate degree in Metalsmith. Danae also attended the James Albert School of Cosmetology-Costa Mesa from 2008-2010, earning a Licentiate degree in Aesthetician/Esthetician and Skin Care Specialist.
