Meng-Chow Kang currently serves as an Associate Professor (Adjunct) at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology since September 2025 and has been the Director and Founder of Averitus Pte Ltd since July 2022. Previous academic roles include Associate Professor (Adjunct) at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, from April 2014 to April 2025. Meng-Chow is involved in cyber security, contributing as a Smart Nation Fellow at GovTech Singapore and as a member of both the Cyber Security Advisory Panel for the Monetary Authority of Singapore and the Healthcare Cyber Security Advisory Panel for the Ministry of Health, Singapore. Meng-Chow's industry experience includes senior positions at Amazon Web Services, Cisco Systems, and serving as a board member of (ISC)². Meng-Chow holds a PhD in Information Risk Management from Southern Cross University and an MSc in Information Security from Royal Holloway, University of London.
