National Security Affairs Fellow at The Hoover Institution, Stanford University

Alphanso A. currently serves as a National Security Affairs Fellow at The Hoover Institution, Stanford University, since August 2023. Prior to this role, Alphanso A. commanded the 561st Network Operations Squadron in the United States Air Force, recognized as the best squadron in the Department of the Air Force. Additional experience includes positions as a Military Strategist at the Department of the Air Force Rapid Capabilities Office and as a United States Air Force Legislative Fellow for Senator Bill Nelson, where Alphanso A. contributed to significant legislative efforts, including the Fiscal Year 2019 National Defense Authorization Act and Senate Resolution 618. Alphanso A. holds a Master of Philosophy in Military Strategy from the School of Advanced Air and Space Studies and multiple degrees, including an MS in Information Technology and a BBA in Management Information Systems and Operations Management from Baylor University.
