Christopher Dauer

Christopher Dauer currently serves as the COO and Chief Program Advancement Officer at The Hoover Institution, Stanford University, a position held since September 2011. In this role, Christopher oversees research programming and funding strategies while leading various administrative and operational departments. Previous roles at The Hoover Institution include Chief External Relations Officer, Senior Associate Director of External Relations, and Director of Marketing & Strategic Communications. Prior to returning to Hoover, Christopher was a General Partner at Ursa Technology Partners and held executive positions in sales and marketing at Invuity Inc., Evalve, Inc., and St. Francis Medical Technologies, among others. Christopher Dauer earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics and History from Brown University and an MBA from Stanford University Graduate School of Business.
