Shelly Weaver

Shelly Weaver currently serves as the Director of Social Work and Civil Rights Compliance at The Hospice of Baton Rouge since July 2023. Previously, Shelly held the position of Social Worker Manager at Clarity Hospice from October 2020 to July 2023, primarily working at The Crossing inpatient hospice facility. From October 2008 to October 2020, Shelly was the Director of Social Work at St. Joseph Hospice, overseeing social workers across multiple states and supervising the STAT AIM Program. Earlier roles included medical social work at Baton Rouge General Medical Center and various social worker positions in hospice and palliative care. Shelly holds a Master of Social Work from Louisiana State University, obtained in 2008, and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the same institution, earned in 2006.
