Joanna Kim

Joanna Kim is a dedicated nursing student at Ontario Tech University, pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Nursing with an expected graduation in April 2025. Currently serving as a Clinical Extern at Joseph Brant Hospital & Foundation since May 2023, Joanna has also held leadership roles, including Co-President and Second Year Representative for the Nursing Student Community at Ontario Tech University, where skills in leadership, organization, and advocacy have been developed. Previous clinical placements at Lakeridge Health, including experiences in medical/surgical and postpartum/maternity units, have enriched Joanna's patient care competencies. Additionally, a foundational experience in long-term care was gained at Hillsdale Estates. Early work experience includes roles as a Brand Associate at Gap and a Cashier at Longo's. Prior educational achievements consist of a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and Affairs from the University of Guelph.
