Rufaida Bawazier

Rufaida Bawazier is a skilled writer and translator with extensive experience in the Indonesian publishing and media industries. Currently employed by Pemerintah Provinsi DKI Jakarta since July 2021, Rufaida also works as a translator and writer at The House of Representatives, Republic of Indonesia (DPR RI), focusing on creating book descriptions for a large collection of historical works. Additional roles have included subtitling for various projects, such as films and programs with Temata Studio and Mola, and serving as an acquisition editor for Bumi Aksara Group. Rufaida has also contributed as a freelance translator and held leadership positions within academic organizations, demonstrating a strong background in Dutch/Flemish language and literature from studies at the University of Indonesia and Ghent University.
