Melissa Kaplan-MacEy

Melissa Kaplan-Macey is the Chief Initiative Officer at The Housing Collective. Prior to this role, Melissa worked at Regional Plan Association as the Vice President, State Programs & Connecticut Director. She also held the position of Connecticut Director at the same organization. Melissa has a background in urban studies and urban planning, having worked at various planning firms and educational institutions, including New York University, Wagner School of Public Service, where she was an Adjunct Assistant Professor. Her experience includes roles such as Senior Planner at the City of Trenton, New Jersey, and Senior Associate at BFJ Planning. Melissa's academic achievements include a Bachelor of Arts in Urban Studies from Brown University and a Master of Urban Planning from New York University.
