Michael Santini serves as a Member of the Board of Trustees at Hudson Institute since February 2024, contributing to the governance of a leading research organization dedicated to promoting American leadership. Previously, Michael held the position of Managing Director and Executive Chair of Global Banking at UBS from January 2017 to February 2024, where responsibilities included overseeing global M&A Advisory and strategic client engagement. Michael also served as Managing Director and Vice Chair of Corporate Finance at Deutsche Bank, leading one of the prominent investment banking teams from November 2009 to January 2017. Prior to that, Michael was a Managing Director at Merrill Lynch, co-heading the Multi-Industry Group in Investment Banking from August 1994 to November 2009. Michael began a career in finance as a Senior Associate at Sanwa Bank, completing an intensive credit training program. Academic credentials include an MBA in Finance from UCLA Anderson School of Management and a BA in Economics from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
