Michael Hobbes

Michael Hobbes is a Senior Enterprise Reporter at The Huffington Post, focusing on the new economy and writing investigative features for Highline since April 2018. Prior to this role, Michael served as a Project Manager at the Danish Institute for Human Rights from May 2013 to April 2018, where responsibilities included research, fundraising, and fieldwork across Africa, Central Asia, and Europe. As a freelance writer and animator for various publications, including Slate and Foreign Policy, between May 2011 and April 2018, Michael enhanced journalistic skills. Michael's earlier experience includes serving as Partnerships Manager at Transparency International. Michael holds a Master's degree in European Studies from Aarhus University and a Master's degree in Political and Legal Theory from UCL, along with a Bachelor's degree in Journalism and Psychology from Western Washington University.
