Simone Bemporad serves as the Group Chief Communications & Public Affairs Officer at Generali since January 2014, where responsibilities include institutional and media relations, employee communication, and international affairs. Bemporad has played a pivotal role in implementing sustainability policies, aligning them with the Group’s strategic direction. Additionally, since 2017, Bemporad has held the position of Deputy Chairman at The Human Safety Net, contributing to the restoration of the Procuratie Vecchie in Venice. As a Non-Resident Senior Associate with the Center for Strategic and International Studies since 2012, Bemporad engages in strategic discussions in the Europe Program. Previous roles include Business Strategy Consultant positions and leadership roles at Finmeccanica and Enel, where significant contributions were made to international relations and communication strategies. Academic credentials include a Certificate in Communications in Business from Harvard University.

The Human Safety Net is a global movement of people helping people. Our mission is to unlock the potential of people living in vulnerable circumstances, so that they can transform the lives of their families and communities. Our programs support vulnerable families with young children (0-6 years) and integrate refugees through work and entrepreneurship. To do so, we bring together the strengths of non-profit organizations and the private sector, in Europe, Asia and South America. We are an open net and we welcome working with companies, organizations and foundations who share the same goals. The Human Safety Net is now active in over 20 countries. Our home is in Venice, in the historic Procuratie Vecchie on St Mark’s Square.
