Debbie Schockett

Debbie Schockett, CVA, has extensive experience in volunteer and human resources management, currently serving as Program Director of Volunteer Services at The Humane Society of the United States since July 2011. Previously, Debbie held various roles within the organization, including Outreach Manager/Program Manager for Volunteer Engagement and Outreach Coordinator for the National Volunteer Center. Prior to this, Debbie worked at Penguin Group USA from January 2003 to July 2011, progressing from Associate HR Generalist to HR Manager and ultimately HR Director. Debbie earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Systems Engineering from the University of Virginia between 1994 and 1998.
