Deesha Dyer currently serves as a Board Member for The Humane Society of the United States, focusing on animal welfare. As the Founder and CEO of Hook & Fasten, a social impact consulting firm, Dyer specializes in creating partnerships between communities and corporations to drive authentic and impactful initiatives. Dyer is also a Co-founder and Executive Director (Volunteer) of beGirl.world, an organization that empowers teenage girls through global education and travel. Previous roles include serving as a Resident Fellow at the Institute of Politics at Harvard Kennedy School, a board member for SIECUS, and various positions at the Ford Foundation, culminating in roles as Senior Advisor and Acting Chief of Staff.
