Shannon Brown

Shannon Brown is an experienced educator and researcher in the field of Child and Youth Care, currently serving as a Professor at Humber College and a Ph.D. student at the University of Toronto. With a strong background in research coordination, Shannon has contributed to various significant projects, including those focused on the impact of counselling programs for youth and interventions for victims of human trafficking. Previous roles include research positions at institutions like the SSHINE Lab and involvement in youth counseling for over a decade. Shannon holds a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology from the University of Toronto, a Master’s degree in Child and Youth Care from Ryerson University, and is pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Social Work at the University of Toronto.
