Sonel Cutler

Sonel Cutler is a dedicated journalism and political science student at Northeastern University, currently serving as Editor in Chief of The Huntington News, where management of the campus section involves collaboration with writers and editing. With significant experience at The Associated Press as a Vote Entry Operator and Email Distribution Supervisor, Sonel has contributed to national election coverage. A reporting intern for The Chronicle of Higher Education, responsibilities included tracking diversity legislation and writing impactful stories. Previous work at Boston Globe Media involved reporting on critical metro issues, and Sonel has also held various service roles while cultivating a social media presence for the Fairfax County Commission for Women.
