The Hutchins School
Heather Caroline Smart is an accomplished music educator with extensive experience in teaching various instruments and music theory. Currently serving as a Music Teacher at Westerway State Primary School and a Flute Teacher at The Hutchins School, Heather has also operated Smartmusicart, a home studio providing individualized music and art lessons since 2008. Previous roles include teaching music at Elizabeth College and New Norfolk State Primary School, as well as working as a Music Educator for the Queensland Department of Education. Heather's educational background includes a Master of Teaching degree focused on Arts Pedagogy from the University of Tasmania and a Bachelor of Music from the University of New England.
