Vince Sesto has a strong background in the field of DevOps engineering and platform automation. Vince started their career as a Support Officer at Editure in 2006 and later worked as a System Engineer at the same company. In 2009, they joined Experian Hitwise as a Senior Build Manager, where they monitored and processed data for web analytics applications. Vince then transitioned to the role of DevOps Engineer at Experian Hitwise in 2011, focusing on continuous integration and development using various tools and technologies. In 2013, Vince worked as a Senior System Administrator at Experian, where they gained experience in system administration, project coordination, and client engagement. Vince continued their career as a DevOps Engineer at Odecee, A Cognizant Company, supporting development teams in their day-to-day work and working with tools like Jenkins, Puppet, and Crowd. In 2017, they joined Air New Zealand as a Platforms Automation Engineer, administering technologies like AWS, Ansible, and Jenkins. Vince then became a DevOps Engineer at Foodstuffs North Island Limited in 2017, focusing on cloud enablement and working with products like iShop New World app and transport management systems. In 2021, Vince briefly worked as an NZSBR Storyteller at NZSwimBikeRun before joining Westpac New Zealand as a DevOps Engineer in 2020. Currently, they work as a Platforms Engineer at THE ICONIC, starting in 2022.
Vince Sesto completed their education at two institutions. From 1997 to 2001, they attended Kangan Tafe, where they earned an Advanced Diploma in Business Management (Marketing). Following that, from 2002 to 2005, Vince studied at Computer Power, where they obtained a Diploma in Systems Technology.
