Sue O'Hare is an experienced professional with a strong background in leadership and innovation across various sectors. Currently serving as Deputy Chair and Trustee at The Inland Waterways Association since June 2016, O'Hare plays a key role in preserving the UK's waterways. Previously, O'Hare managed the European Space Agency's business incubation centre at STFC, supporting the growth of space-related start-ups. O'Hare has also held significant positions at PraxisUnico, Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew, and AIRTO Ltd, among others, contributing to research commercialization and knowledge transfer initiatives. O'Hare holds a DPhil in Nuclear Physics from Merton College, Oxford, and an MA in Natural Sciences from Clare College, Cambridge.
