Joy Dahlen

Joy Dahlen has a diverse and extensive work experience in various leadership and coaching roles. Joy is currently working at Talent Method as a Talent Coach and Consultant. Prior to that, they served as a Head Leadership Coach at The Inspired Product Leader Executive Network. Joy also worked at Pathrise as a Career Coach and People Operations & Talent Industry Mentor, providing career strategy and mock interview coaching. Joy was a Success Coach for the Amazon Career Choice Program at Correlation One. Earlier in their career, Joy held positions at Thermo Fisher Scientific, where they served as a Global Sr. Human Resources Business Partner and Executive Coach, Sr. Human Resources Manager and Leadership Coach, and Corporate Capability Analyst and HR Partner. Before that, they worked as an Organization Development & Effectiveness Consultant at an independent consultancy and as a Supervisor at Hyatt Hotels Corporation.

Joy Dahlen's education history begins in 2008 when they attended Vanguard University of Southern California. Joy pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business and completed their studies in 2010.

In 2012, Joy enrolled at Sonoma State University to further their education. Joy completed a Master of Arts degree in Organization Development in 2014. Additionally, in 2013, they obtained a certificate in Human Resources Management from the same institution.

Looking ahead to 2022, Joy intends to enroll in the Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching Certification Program at iPEC Coaching. Joy plans to complete this program in 2023.

In terms of certifications, Joy has obtained several additional qualifications. In June 2023, they became a Certified Executive Coach and COR.E Leadership Dynamics Specialist (CLDS) through iPEC Coaching. Joy also obtained certification as a Certified Transitions Coach and COR.E Transitions Dynamics Specialist in the same month and year. Prior to this, in May 2023, Joy achieved the status of Energy Leadership Index Master Practitioner (ELI-MP) through iPEC Coaching.

Furthermore, Joy holds a variety of certifications related to mediation and conflict resolution. Joy acquired certification as a Certified Facilitator & Conflict Coach - Conflict Dynamics Profile-Individual (CDP-I) Assessment and as a Certified Workplace Mediator and Trainer in Conflict Resolution, both in 2023 from the Mediation Training Institute at Eckerd College. Additionally, they obtained the IMI Qualified Mediator certification from the International Mediation Institute in 2023. Prior to their focus on mediation, in 2019, Joy obtained a Mediation Principles and Practice Certificate from the County of Santa Clara.

Lastly, Joy has indicated their intent to pursue the (SHRM-SCP) Society for Human Resources Management, Senior Certified Professional designation, although it is unclear when they plan to obtain this certification. Joy is also a Certified Professional Career Coach, recognized by the Professional Association of Résumé Writers and Career Coaches.
