Dana Silicki

Director, Stem, Service And Lifelong Learning at The Institute for Advanced Learning and Research

Dana Silicki currently serves as the Director of STEM, Service, and Lifelong Learning at The Institute for Advanced Learning and Research, where responsibilities include managing educational programs for participants from kindergarten to adult, overseeing research, communication, budgeting, and instructor training. Previously, Dana held various roles at Virginia Cooperative Extension, including Unit Coordinator and 4-H Extension Agent, focusing on youth education program coordination. As a High School Teacher at Bland County Public Schools, Dana taught Agriculture classes and managed vocational budgets. Early career experience includes working as a Secretary and Student Worker at the Virginia Tech Dairy Center, handling records and administrative tasks. Dana earned a Master of Science in Education and a Bachelor of Science in Dairy Science from Virginia Tech.
