As the Institute’s chief financial officer, Caroline DiCioccio oversees and directs budgeting, audit, tax, general account, grant accounting, payroll, accounts payable, and billing activities. In this capacity, she develops policies, procedures and systems necessary to maintain proper records and to afford adequate accounting controls and services; and directs and analyzes studies of general economic, business, and financial conditions and their impact on the organization’s policies and operations. She previously served as the Institute’s controller, where she was responsible for directing the financial activities of the organization, including record keeping and financial reporting. Prior to joining the Institute in 2011, she served as a director at McGladrey & Pullen, LLP, a certified public accounting firm, performing auditing, accounting, and management advisory services for clients in the non-profit and health care industries. Ms. DiCioccio holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Iona College.
